I envisioned the facade I developed earlier (primarily a development on Nate's design) that would "wrap around" my building, the cut-outs providing privacy but also a light source. However, for the vast amounts of natural light required for the upper floor (the studio floor) the facade would enclose an open space, this would allow light to come in in greater force where it is mostly needed, in the studio.
This is a rough model of how I would like the relationship between the facade and building to look like. The shape is informed by the layout on both sites, trying to utilize as much of the length as the width.
