A form realized

I was undergoing a bit of an "Architect's block" in finding a form that would express my design as well as being somehow I personally find aesthetically appealing. As in most cases, I took to drawing out ideas simply to get in the mindset of creating, and stumbled upon one which I thought had a lot of potential.

The sketch that I liked the most, that seemed to have the most potential in terms of abstract form and representing my design idea.

These are snapshots showing how the design translated into Second Life. I really like how it turned out, it evokes the main aspects of the family picnic that I recognized as well as being an unusual Architectural form.
