Starting point.
Development made.
Since my experimenting has led me to the idea of chaos vs order, I thought back on how this relates to my original idea of parents being the source of sustenance to us in our most vulnerable part of life - childhood. Whilst my experimenting so far has dealt with chaos as a physical thing, reflecting in the physical sustenance environment of the picnic lunch, chaos can also be considered an internal factor.
With your parents beside you, are you calm? Yes.
If they leave you, are you in a state of panis? Yes.
In terms of a young child or toddler, these questions would definitely carry a strong degree of accuracy. Therefore I narrow my exploration of chaos vs order into the factor of the parent's presence. If a parent is nearby, there is calm and order. If a parent is absent there is confusion and chaos. The sudden withdrawal of a parental figure, and the strong support and sustenance they provide would be detrimental for a young child, as shown in cases of juvenile delinquents. Not only is the physical food, water and shelter vital for order on the outside of the child, but the emotional motivation, love and support is equally vital for order on the inside of the child.
